Reikitime International, a legacy of transformation through Reiki.
We are Matías Mahia and Carmen Villarreal Alberich. Since 2004 we have guided people on the path of Reiki — healing, service and spiritual awakening. Reikitime is what grew from that: an international community of practitioners, facilitators and therapists, with a presence across Latin America, North America and Europe.

Who we are
A living community that honors the power of energy and your capacity for transformation.
Reikitime was born in 2004 with one purpose: to train people who want to explore healing, service and spiritual awakening through Reiki. Over these years we have instructed thousands of practitioners and therapists, blending the ancestral wisdom of the method with contemporary tools.
We were pioneers in creating the largest hospital Reiki volunteering program in Baja California, with over sixteen years of uninterrupted service, in partnership with the Tijuana General Hospital Trust. And in the midst of the pandemic, we implemented distance attunements with international endorsement, adapting with ethics and depth at every stage.
Today we certify in seven methods —Traditional Reiki (Usui), Karuna, Jin Kei Do, Buddho Enersense, Satori Shihan, Shamanic Reiki and Egyptian Reiki. The last two are our own creation: we developed them and extend their certifications. Our courses combine video, downloadable documents, audio and discussion forums, with unlimited ongoing support for students and trainers. We also offer in-person experiences — transformative and high-impact.

Seven methods, two of our own creation. One same founding seed.
Each method is taught with an experiential perspective, its own material, audio, documents and discussion forums. Levels run from beginner to Mastery, and all carry international endorsement. The online trainings have an interactive, intuitive interface, with short videos, clear lessons and all the supporting material that makes for a powerful, engaging, high-impact experience.

In Reiki, the lineage is the family tree of the teaching. The instructions pass from Sensei to Sensei, giving support and solidity to the practice of those who are initiated. To know where your teacher comes from is to know where you come from.
At Reikitime we trained with global references: Lama Lhanang Rinpoche (Tibetan Buddhist lineage), Sensei Hyakuten Inamoto (Japanese lineage), William Lee Rand (Karuna lineage) and Claudio Marquez (traditional lineage).
