Founder of Reikitime International (2004). Founder of Casa Dakini Academia. Co-creator of the Reiki in Hospitals Volunteering program.

In his words

My story with Reiki.

My name is Matías. I am a holistic trainer, therapist and eternal learner.

I was born in Argentina, and over 22 years ago I began a path of healing and service that changed my life forever. Through Reiki and shamanism I discovered the power of energy, consciousness and the importance of living in coherence between mind and heart. Since then, my purpose has been to guide people toward a fuller, more meaningful and happier life.

At twenty I began to explore different spiritual traditions, energy disciplines and healing methods. Reiki became the portal that taught me to trust the invisible, to value the power of presence, and to put that energy at the service of others.

In 2004 I founded Reikitime International and, some time later, we co-created Casa Dakini Academia. From these spaces we offer comprehensive trainings in different styles of Reiki, including two of our own creation: Shamanic Reiki and Egyptian Reiki. Together with the Casa Dakini team we also organize retreats, initiatory journeys, group and private classes. I have a special passion for mentorships for therapists and for in-person and distance attunements, internationally endorsed.

In 2006, together with Carmen Villarreal Alberich, we founded the largest hospital Reiki volunteering program in Baja California, with over fifteen years of uninterrupted service at the Tijuana General Hospital.

I believe in energy as a bridge toward our purpose, in education as a form of freedom, and in compassion as a transformative force.

My mission is to accompany those who wish to remember and reconnect with their own energetic potential and inner light. I do not seek to turn anyone into a Reiki practitioner, but to help each person relate in an authentic and fluid way with their own version of the divine, so that this connection manifests naturally and coherently throughout their reality.

In her words

My path to Reiki.

I am Carmen, born in Mexico City and raised in Tijuana, Baja California. From a very young age I felt a deep inclination toward philosophy, spirituality and the world's religions, thanks to the loving influence of my father. This interest marked the beginning of an inner path that intertwined with my academic and professional training.

I hold a Law degree with a Master's in Foreign Trade from the Carlos III University of Madrid, and I am a Specialist in Financial Markets Law. Upon returning from my studies in Europe, I began to give shape to deeper concerns that had been with me since childhood: thanatology and Reiki. That was the true turning point. I found in these practices not only a path of healing, but also a form of compassionate service.

I am currently an internationally Certified Teacher in the Reiki Method of Natural Harmonization by the Argentine Association of Reiki. I am an instructor specialized in the Traditional Usui Method at Reikitime International, and I have trained in Reiki Jin Kei Dō, Buddho Reiki, the 9 Rituals of the Hidden Treasure, Satori Shihan and The Higher Practice. I have over ten years of experience teaching Reiki and accompanying processes of personal and spiritual transformation.

I am also a committed practitioner of Tibetan Buddhist meditation under the guidance of Ven. Lama Lhanang Rinpoche, whom I consider my Spiritual Master and with whom I had the honor of making an initiatory journey to Tibet.

In 2006 I founded, and have coordinated ever since, the Reiki Volunteering program at the Tijuana General Hospital, the largest and most sustained in the region. I am also the founder of Casa Dakini in Tijuana, a space for training, accompaniment and service from a holistic perspective.

From the practice of my profession as a lawyer, I am an animal rights activist and I lead the Animal Rights Lawyers Collective of Mexico, where we promote legislative projects, awareness campaigns and institutional transformations such as the reconversion of the Tijuana zoo. I currently also coordinate a Reiki program for wildlife, integrating my legal vocation with the energetic and spiritual path.

I believe in the power of love as a tool for transformation, in energy as a universal language, and in the real possibility of healing the world from the inside out.
